Florence is a truly beautiful city. A city with a breathtaking skyline at any time of day viewed from  the high point on the city – Piazzale Michelangelo. A place where everything seems somehow more romantic and fairytale-like.

OOTD | Autumn envy

Don’t get me wrong, I can NOT WAIT until summer and I’m so excited that it is finally spring, however, as a red headed girl who’s wardrobe mainly consists of khaki, maroon and navy blue, I can’t help but be a little envious of all the autumn style pics that are currently filling up everyone’s blog feeds!

So here is a bit of an autumn inspired look that I wore today:

Lake Como

I was incredibly sad to say goodbye to Old Pierrefeu but our next stop on our journey was Lake Como – our first destination in Italy! Italy is a country I have always wanted to visit and it was finally time!! Needless to say I was quite excited!

We navigated our way down the French mountain side, crossed over the border into Italy and drove along the coast for a while. The hot weather had well and truly settled in and the colourful houses were glowing in the bright midday heat.

H&M dress two ways | Rose Gold v Silver

Hi everyone!

I’m so excited to be doing another style post for you guys. Especially this one! On my travels I picked up this gorgeous black and white maxi dress from H&M in London and just felt like I had to wear it in the beautiful Old Pierrefeu. Today, as I write this post, I am sitting in the sun enjoying the fact that Spring is finally here!! And looking back at this look makes me even more excited!

Old Pierrefeu

Take a step with me into the most magical place I have ever been! Old Pierrefeu is an incredibly serene village of about 50 houses that is situated on the top of a mountain just outside of Nice. The photos do not do this cliff side town justice but hopefully you can catch a glimpse of its beauty and charm that I fell head over heels in love with.

Liebster Award

Hi everyone!

Last week I was nominated for the Liebster Award by the beautiful ‘The Brandy Corner‘. Thank you so much for the nomination! I definitely recommend popping by her blog where you’ll find fashion, beauty and lifestyle commentary and reviews all the way from France. It’s super exciting getting to find all these fabulous up and coming blogs and I think this award is a great way to find some amazing talent out there. I can’t believe how quickly my blog has grown – still nice and cosy but I seriously didn’t think anyone would find me for at least several months!

Lakes District

With the weather cooling down, our next stop on our travels was the Lakes District of England.

We drove firstly to a town called Heysham where we stayed with friends for the next few days. They lived right next to Morecombe Bay, a beautiful expanse of water, bordered by lush green hills on one side, and a nuclear power plant on the other… we just looked towards the green side!
